Quick Serve Taps

A versatile range of easy-action lever taps with a spigot bore (inside diameter) of 8, 12, or 18mm, capable of being fitted to rigid, semi-rigid (e.g. Cubitainer®-type) and flexible (e.g. bag-in-box) containers. The basic materials of the Quick Serve Tap range are linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) for the body and polypropylene (PP) for the spigot (nozzle). Optional body materials are high density polyethylene (HDPE) and nylon, for temperature and solvent resistance, respectively.

Push-in, screw-in, and screw-ring options are available. Typically, barbed units are 'pushed' or 'interference fit' into bag-in-box fitments (glands), as well as adaptors and screwcaps. 'Screw-in' taps are fitted with a 3/4" threaded adaptor for use with internally threaded screwcaps, bungs, or 'blanked' holes in rigid containers (Back nuts/washers are available for these applications.) The Cubitainer® QST is fitted with a 38mm 'plug-fit' screw-ring to match Cubitainer®'s 38 mm externally threaded neck. A gasketed version of this tap allows it to be fitted with virtually any bottle with a 38/400 neck finish.
